Burun spreyi formunda al&#305;nan Orexin A hormonu, tespit edilebilen bir yan etkisi olmaks&#305;z&#305;n uyku ihtiyac&#305;n&#305; ortadan kald&#305;r&#305;yor.&lt;br&gt;Maymunlar &#252;zerinde yap&#305;lan laboratuar testlerinde, 36 saat boyunca uykusuz b&#305;rak&#305;lan maymun denekler, &lt;a href="http://www.modafinil.com/orexin-a.html"&gt;Orexin A&lt;/a&gt; hormonu verildi&#287;inde, anlama ve dikkat testlerinde di&#287;er maymunlarla ayn&#305; ba&#351;ar&#305;y&#305; sa&#287;lamay&#305; s&#252;rd&#252;rd&#252;ler.&lt;br&gt;DARPA elbette &#246;ncelikle bunu yorulmayan ve uyku ihtiyac&#305; olmayan askerler yaratabilmek i&#231;in geli&#351;tirse de zamanla herkesin kullan&#305;m&#305;na a&#231;&#305;k hale gelmesi ka&#231;&#305;n&#305;lmaz olacakt&#305;r.&lt;br&gt;&#350;imdiye kadar geli&#351;tirilen benzer ila&#231;lar bir s&#252;re sonra y&#252;ksek tansiyon ve dengesiz davran&#305;&#351;lara yol a&#231;&#305;yordu.
